North Queensland's most exciting weekend of the year is back and this year it's celebrating 30 years! Port Douglas Carnivale marks the 'official' start to the tourist season with street parades, live music, long lunches, circus acts and so much more!This is one not to be missed, read more about what's in store for Carnivale's 30 year celebration and remember - if you want to join in on the fun, don't delay! Have you ever cared to spot a Saltwater Crocodile in the wild? The Daintree River has over 50 adult 'Salties' that call the system home and on the safety of a tour with Solar Whisper you're bound to catch a glimpse of a couple of them! While parts of the Daintree remain closed after Cyclone Jasper, Solar Whisper operates on this side of the river, meaning you won't need to cross the ferry.Tours run daily so there's plenty of chances for you to spot a croc!
