MAIL SORTING ASSISTANT

The Port Douglas Licensed Post Office are looking for a casual employee to complement the existing team to do a primary mail and parcels sort for the area. This work will start at our Craiglie facility then finish at the outlet in Port Douglas.

The hours are 06.00 to 09.00 weekdays and this role is time sensitive.

While experience in mail and parcel management would be an advantage - on the job training will be critical to you reaching the expected levels of competence that we will both expect and require.

A licence and transport will be necessary and mileage will be paid.

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking for a role that fits perfectly within school hours? Port Douglas Surf Life Saving Club is seeking a dedicated Club Administrator to join their team.

About the Role This is a paid, part-time position for approximately 10 hours per week. As the Club Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks and supporting the club’s activities.

Key Responsibilities • General administration and office support. • Managing emails and correspondence. • Maintaining accurate records and databases. • Coordinating and organising meetings. • Assisting with club communications and member support.

Key Skills and Requirements • Proficiency in computer applications, including email, Office, MailChimp and social media. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently. • Excellent communication skills.

This role offers flexibility and is ideal for someone looking to work during school hours.
