Do you love plants and developing gardens? We are looking for a Horticulturist and Gardener to join our team.

About us Hortulus is well respected in designing, building and maintaining gardens working in the Port Douglas and Cairns surrounds.

The opportunity We are looking for a Horticulturist/Gardener to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our clients gardens and keeping them to the Hortulus standard. Your tasks will include but not limited to planting, pruning, irrigation, weeding, lawn services, fertilising and general garden care.

Who we are looking for • To be part of Hortulus, you need to love what you do, which shows in your work • Hort III certificate is preferred but not essential if you have practical experience • You have a sound knowledge of irrigation, plants, pest and diseases • You are comfortable working with tools, including working on ladders • Current drivers licence • You love to be outdoors, and rainy days don’t bother you • You are passionate, positive and honest, with a strong work ethic

ROOM ATTENDANT

Our resort in Port Douglas is looking for you!

Silkari Lagoons is located in tropical Port Douglas and offers a variety of hotel rooms and apartments. We are looking for a casual room attendant to join our housekeeping team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Service and clean assigned guest rooms ensuring that rooms are perfectly presented to resort standards;

• Ensure store rooms and trolleys are kept neat and stocked, and in good working order;

• Handle all amenities, chemicals, and equipment according to WHS standards;

• Assist with other duties in the housekeeping department as required.

Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate and customer-focused. As an integral part of delivering exceptional customer service, you will possess:

• A high attention to detail, self-motivated and able to work in a team environment, as well as independently,

• Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality,

• Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster,

• A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner, and excellent personal presentation,

• Hotel Housekeeping experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Training will be provided.

Marano's Fuel are seeking dedicated and passionate people to join our team at South Mossman Roadhouse. You will be rostered to work a variety of shifts (morning and afternoon) including weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Weekend and public holiday penalties apply.
