What a remarkable year it has been! We are immensely grateful for your unwavering support.

As the year comes to a close, we extend heartfelt wishes for a joyous Christmas and a prosperous 2024 ahead!

Please be advised that the Newsport team is in need of a well-deserved break—our only one for the year :). Newsport and the Port Douglas Magazine will close the office and updated daily news coverage from this Friday 22 December 5pm to 8am 8 January 2024. 

The Port Douglas Magazine team has send issue 40 off to the printers and expect it back in mid January 2024 for delivery. It’s a fabulous issue and we hope it adds to the amazing resilience our region will show to jumping straight back to our very best after these trying times.Sarah and I take this time to again thank the editorial and business development teams for all their hard work and especially thank you the readership for your loyalty and amazing input to this community newspaper and destination magazine and travel planner . See you next year. Cheers Sam and Sarah
