GOLF COURSE GENERAL MANAGERPalmer Sea Reef Golf Course Port Douglas has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced manager to join the team.Located in the tropical paradise of Far North Queensland this is a truly unique role that has only become available once in the past twelve years.Consistently ranked in the top echelon of Golf Courses within Australia Palmer Sea Reef is truly a hidden gem within the golfing landscape.The position reports to the company General Manager. While a golfing or a sporting background would be highly advantageous, it is not essential. Proven successful management of a club, business or similar organization would be highly advantageous.The role:The Course is seeking to appoint a new General Manager to provide overall strategic and operational leadership.The role will be to oversee the daily running of the course including:The smooth day-to-day running of the club and all applicable compliance responsibilities.Strong financial management and administration experience.Successful track record of sales and event management,Marketing and promotional work experience to secure and retain business partnerships.Assisting with running club tournaments and events.Exceptional stakeholder management including members, guests, local government, and other organizations.Developing and leading high-performing teams and instilling disciplines, technology, management structures and governance to deliver an outstanding membership/guest experience.Qualifications:Qualifications and skills that would be beneficial.Tertiary qualificationApproved Manager & RMLV Qualifications or Ability to obtain.If this sounds like the role for you please send, your current resume and covering letter via seek or email [email protected]
