NIGHT SHIFTMainStream Aquaculture Queensland is a rapidly growing aquaculture business that produces premium and sustainably farmed Barramundi in the Cassowary Coast and Douglas Shire regions. We currently have exciting opportunities available for one full time Night shift positions to join our dedicated team at our Port Douglas farm. We are looking for self-motivated, reliable and passionate candidates with the ability to handle a diverse fast paced workload. You will work closely with the management and operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all aspects of our overnight pond monitoring of our farm fresh Barramundi.Key Responsibilities:• Be a key player in our overnight pond monitoring activities• Operation and general maintenance of farm plant and equipment, including the completion of necessary checklists.• Be part of a team environment and work independently when required.• Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures, Food Safety and Workplace Health & Safety Systems ensuring a high standard of operation.• Participating in overnight and weekend work and being flexible with duties and hours of work.• Great work life balance, full time hours with a seven-day fortnight, swinging roster of three on three off, four on four off.Requirements:• Current C class manual licence and reliable vehicle to attend sites• Strong work ethics and commitment to the role• Ability to work alongside the team to systematically complete daily tasks• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all members of the team• Ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks• Ability to work safely and efficiently through the nightDesirable Requirements:• Reside or willing to reside in the local or surrounding area• HR Licence• Forklift Licence• Previous experience operating machinery• Previous experience in the aquaculture industry desired but not essentialPlease provide your current CV and a cover letter telling us about you and why you are best fit for the role.Email: [email protected]
