HOTEL RECEPTIONISTSilkari The Pavilions is looking for a hotel receptionist to work on a casual basis (approx. 3 days per week)Job Tasks and responsibilities:• Check-in and check-out guests,• Answer incoming calls and attend to guest queries,• Enter data into system and balance at the end of each shift,• Issue room keys to guests and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality,• Provide friendly, personalised customer service at all times,• Recommend restaurants and places of interest according to guests needs,• Ensure the smooth running of the reception desk,• Other varied hotel administration tasksSkills and Experience:To succeed in this role you will need to be customer focused. As an integral part of delivering exceptional customer service you will possess:• High attention to detail, be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment, as well as independently,• Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality,• Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week,• A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner and, excellent personal presentation,• Be an excellent communicator,• Hotel Reception experience an advantage but not a prerequisite. TRUCK DRIVER / FURNITURE REMOVALISTWe require a physically fit person to work with our team to load and deliver quality Kitchen cupboards with the utmost care of this finished product to project building sites and homes. A Trade background (eg Carpenter etc) will be an advantage but is not essential.A hands on person that has a practical approach to set up Kitchen cabinets for the Foreman to QA check prior to loading into the Pantech truck ready for delivery. A high attention to detail is required and that can work unsupervised.Delivery areas extend to Cairns, Tablelands and Townsville. Extra hours will be required making this position flexible in hours worked.Above Award Wages and benefits are offered for this position.
