Boat ramp closure mix-up gets some engines revving

The Port Douglas boat ramp will be closed from today for up to 10 weeks for repairs, but commercial boat users are happier this week than they were last week following a compromise by operator Maritime Safety Queensland.

Vandals caused significant damage to the Mossman Uniting Church during a break and enter in the night between Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26. While nothing was stolen, the damage was extensive and appears to have been pure vandalism.

It's My Time Fitness, Mossman Showgrounds, has availability for use of our spacious air conditioned premises, on a casual regular basis. There are flexible options for room hire only, or offering classes promoted on our club timetable.

Our club features gym mat flooring throughout, some fitness equipment, toilet facility, kitchen and limited storage. We are ideally located in the fitness precinct next to the oval, with adjacent undercover areas, so you can utilise the outdoors as well as indoors.
