We are on the lookout for passionate and enthusiastic Tour Guides to join our dedicated and knowledgeable team.
As a casual Tour Guide, you’ll be spending each day with a group of new friends, showcasing the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest to small tour groups.
Our ideal candidate is the ultimate “people person” - you’re charismatic, engaging and a natural story-teller. You build rapport easily with new people ensuring everybody in your group feels welcomed, engaged and inspired. You have a passion for the natural world and an intrinsic curiosity to learn from the environment around you.
The World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest is a tour guide’s dream backdrop, the rainforest really does speak for itself - we can train you up with plenty of interpretive stories, anecdotes and history of the region. Bonus point if you already have experience guiding in the Wet Tropics of Far North QLD!
We offer above-award wages, and we are flexible - we have plenty of hours available for the right candidate or we can work with your availability. Ideally you’ll have the flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and during peak tourism seasons.
You will need a current Queensland Driver Licence and Driver Authorisation, as well as First Aid and CPR certificates.

To bring these told tales to life - pick your crew name and set off on an epic TREASURE HUNT launching from WindSwell Kitesurfing’s (trailored) vessel. Learn the basics of compass navigation before "sailing" off to collect clues from Port Douglas club stalls. With help from WindSwell and Segway Tours, you will uncover the real ‘spot-x’ and claim your treasure!
