E-bike registration and licences may be on the way

E-bikes and scooters travelling faster than 25km/h in Douglas Shire may soon have to be ridden by a licensed rider and be registered under a raft of major changes recommended by a State Government parliamentary committee.

Kuranda & Outback Tasting Tours is seeking a friendly and reliable Driver Guide to join our family-run tour company starting April 2026 (training in March)

This casual position offers up to 4 days per week guiding small-group day tours from Port Douglas to Kuranda and the Atherton Tablelands.

Successful applicants will begin on our Kuranda tours with full training, before progressing to our popular Outback Tasting Tours across the Atherton Tablelands for a mixed roster.
