Pool upgrade set to lift disability access standards

ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Print, Digital & Magazine Full-time or Part-time (3 days/week)

We're now seeking a driven Advertising Sales Representative to grow our advertising base and represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
About the Role You’ll be responsible for: • Selling advertising packages across our newspaper, digital platform, and magazine. • Building strong client relationships with local and regional businesses. • Managing advertising bookings, client briefs, campaign delivery, and follow-up. • Oversee and support regular distribution of the newspaper (own vehicle required).
This position offers flexibility and can be structured as either full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week), depending on the successful applicant’s availability and experience. Typical hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, and we encourage flexible work hours as required.
About You You’ll bring: • A minimum 2-5 years experience selling advertising for newspaper, radio, digital, or magazines. • Experience in advertising software and CRM’s such as Hubspot and Adbutler are desirable. • Experience creating and implementing successful client campaigns. • Strong communication and client management skills. • Design skills appreciated to create campaigns and presentations • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good organisational and time management abilities. • A valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle.

LEGAL SECREATARY / CONVEYANCER Location: Port Douglas, QLD Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Conveyancer/Legal Secretary to join our team long term. This role primarily involves managing conveyancing transactions, complemented by general administrative and secretarial duties.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end residential and commercial conveyancing files. • Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence. • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, banks, and other stakeholders. • Reception duties, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments. • Assist with day-to-day general office administration and support tasks.
Qualifications and Skills: • Previous experience in conveyancing or legal administration is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) • General understanding of invoicing and accounting (payments and receipts) is preferred • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and under pressure to meet time critical deadlines. • Understanding the importance and maintaining of confidentiality.
