FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISORSilkari Lagoons is located in tropical Port Douglas and offers a variety of hotel rooms and apartments.We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor to assist with the day-to-day operations of our Front Office team.Duties:• Supervise rostered shift on the front desk;• Assist the Hotel Manager in day-to-day operations;• Assist guests with special requests, general information, transportation, and any otherreasonable requests as they arise;• Ensure that Front Office shifts run efficiently, providing outstanding guest service,assisting all Front Office staff, and maintaining a calm, professional environment at all times;• Assign duties to staff and ensure adherence to hotel policies;• Provide training to staff;• Receive and resolve guest complaints/issues;• Administrative duties;• Maintain accurate records including cash flow;• Ensure property and work areas are maintained to standard;• Build strong working relationships and communications with hotel staff and departments;• All other duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager or Management.The successful candidate will have:• Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality;• Hotel Front Office experience;• Attention to detail;• Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster;• A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner, and excellent personal presentation;• Team orientated;• Be an excellent communicator and possess time management skills.Only applicants with unrestricted right to work in Australia will be considered for this position.If you feel you possess these qualities and would like to be part of our team we want to hear from you!
