COOK/CHEF.Wildlife Habitat is a privately owned and operated wildlife park located at Port Douglas, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest in tropical Far North QueenslandWildlife Habitat nature park is offering an employment opportunity for an experienced short order cook / chef with 38 hours a week available for the right applicant. Position negotiable for a casual or permanent part time role. Primary duties for the role will include:• working within a close small team and exercising excellent communication skills• ensuring high standard of daily cleaning and HACCP Standards. • Sound knowledge of food products and diet requirements.• Strong food presentation skills for café and Breakfast. • Preparation of café style foods / Grab and go style. • Preparation of plattered foods for breakfast with the Birds. • Primary early morning and early afternoon shifts. • Ability to follow policy and procedures. • The ability to work over a 7-day roster, including availability for weekends.
