FULL TIME POOL TECHNICIANWe are looking for pool and spa technician to join our team. Port Douglas Pool Shop is a long running family business that has been servicing commercial and residential pools and spas in the region for over 20 years.All training will be provided for the right person and key responsibilities include:- Cleaning of swimming pools and spas in both residential and commercial environments- Water testing and adding of chemicals- Preparation of service reports via infield app- Observe and report pool equipment issues

FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISORSilkari Lagoons is located in tropical Port Douglas and offers a variety of hotel rooms and apartments.We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor to assist with the day-to-day operations of our Front Office team.Duties:• Supervise rostered shift on the front desk;• Assist the Hotel Manager in day-to-day operations;• Assist guests with special requests, general information, transportation, and any otherreasonable requests as they arise;• Ensure that Front Office shifts run efficiently, providing outstanding guest service,assisting all Front Office staff, and maintaining a calm, professional environment at all times;• Assign duties to staff and ensure adherence to hotel policies;• Provide training to staff;• Receive and resolve guest complaints/issues;• Administrative duties;• Maintain accurate records including cash flow;• Ensure property and work areas are maintained to standard;• Build strong working relationships and communications with hotel staff and departments;• All other duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager or Management.
