MECHANIC
Exemplar Coaches and Limousines is the leading airport transfer company in the Cairns–Port Douglas region. Our depot is located on the outskirts of Port Douglas. We currently seek a qualified mechanic to maintain our fleet of Toyota Coasters, Commuters, Hybrid Camrys, Hyundai I Maxes, BMW Five Series sedans and a range of single axle luggage trailers.
You must : • be a qualified vehicle mechanic with experience in light commercial vehicles, • possess a sound knowledge of Queensland Dept. of Main Roads and Transport (DTMR) regulations and requirements, • hold a Light Rigid (LR) minimum manual license, and • have the ability to perform light body work, mig welding skills would be advantageous.
We have a fleet of 25 vehicles, which demonstrates daily our high standards of safety and presentation. As such, the company mechanic ‘s role is an integral part of our team and the ongoing success of Exemplar.
The person we are looking for must hold these other attributes: • Have an eye for detail. • Be highly organised. • Have the ability to work in a changing environment . • Works well unsupervised • Communicates well. • Prioritises and has excellent time management skills
