EXPERIENCED CHEF

Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is located 40 minutes north of Cairns along the beautiful Captain Cook Highway. The drive along the coast, from either Port Douglas or Cairns, is a great opportunity to unwind from a day at work with great scenery and not too many traffic lights.

If you are tired of working nights, and would prefer daytime hours, Lilies Restaurant at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures requires the services of an experienced and capable Chef to work with our small team in delivering meals, including breakfast and lunch, to our many happy visitors. We need an enthusiastic, reliable, honest individual with a passion for the hospitality industry. If you are committed and care about your job, this is a role for you.

This full-time position will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen who gets on well with work colleagues, even when the pressure is on.

As well as feeding lots of visitors, who are hungry after viewing the snappy crocs, we also have regular lunch functions for tour groups. These functions provide the chance to use your skills in providing guests with tasty and wholesome offerings to augment their wildlife-viewing enjoyment. Daytime hours 38 per week. Typical finish at 3:00 – 3:30pm. Shifts may include a weekend day and some public holidays.
